Online dating is losing its reputation as a last resort for meeting someone. According to a new Pew Research study, most people today think its a good way to meet people. Eighty percent of people who have used online dating and 55 percent of those who havent think its a good way to meet people.

A new study conducted by Stanford University sociologist Michael Rosenfeld found that couples are now more likely to meet a romantic partner online than through personal contacts or connections.
