As of yet, there is no way to search by usernames directly from the OkCupid app. The above URL will also bring you directly to the search box on your computer. You can actually still search by username on OkCupids online site, they just made it a little harder to find.

How does OkCupid search work?

Heres how it works: when you set up your profile, youre given a series of questions that you can elect to skip or answer, which then contribute to your match percentage with prospective matches (a.k.a. how compatible you are with someone). Youre only required to answer 15, but the average OkCupid user answers 50.

How do you find someone who unmatched me on OkCupid?

You can view your blocked/unmatched users on the app by tapping on your profile, then on Account Settings. From there, tap on Privacy, then on Blocked & Unmatched. Note: Passing someone does not block them. Passing just means you wont see them around the site until you run out of people to see.

Why do profiles disappear on OkCupid?

You may have blocked the other person. The other person may have blocked you. The other person may have deleted their account. The other person may be in a moderation hold.
