Is it illegal to tattoo yourself at home?

Home tattooing is not safe and can put you at risk of serious infections. Performing home tattoos on yourself or your friends may be illegal in some cases. Getting a tattoo overseas (even in a professional tattoo shop) may not be safe.

What angle should you tattoo at?

Use a standard angle between 45 and 60ﾟ to put color into the skin. Most people work in small tight circles, but with mags, I have found that a Box Motion works better than circles.

Is it OK to slap my tattoo?

Suggested Tattoo Aftercare -DO NOT let anyone touch or slap your healing tattoo. Dirty hands cause infection. Slapping it can blow out the lines. -DO NOT scratch or scrub your healing tattoo.
