How do you attach a hose to a laundry tap?

Wrap plumbers tape clockwise around the threads of the cold water interior water hookup for the washing machine, or around the threads of the exterior water spigot. Tighten the female end, or coupler connection, of the garden hose onto the water hookup for the washing machine. Tighten a quarter turn more.
