Tinder, unlike other apps, only requires users to input their age, distance, and gender preferences. Tinder adjusts potential matches a user sees every time someone acts on his or her profile, it says. The company reorders this users possible match profiles within 24 hours of actions being taken.
For you, its an instant match. For the other person it could have been DAYS since they swiped right. Tinder will apparently add in some non-matches while you swipe, so you dont get a very obvious string of instant matches within the first minute.
How does Tinder work when you match?
When youve matched with someone, Tinder will alert you. If youd like to learn more about an individual before swiping, tap on his or hers profile photo. You will then be able to see their entire profile with details, linked accounts, and more. You can also slide through their photo carousel to see more photos.
Can I see Tinder matches without paying?
